Velvet Scrunchie Crochet Pattern Starts Here:
Row 1: Ch 36
Row 2: Sc in 2nd ch from the hook, sc across the entire row, ch 2, turn
Row 3: Sc blo in the next st after the ch, then sc blo in each st across the row, ch 2, turn
Row 4: Sc flo in the next st after the ch, then sc flo in each st across the row, ch 2, turn
Then we are repeating Rows 3 & 4 in Row 5, 6, and 7
Row 5: Sc blo in the next st after the ch, then sc blo in each st across the row, ch 2, turn
Row 6: Sc flo in the next st after the ch, then sc flo in each st across the row, ch 2, turn
Row 7: Sc blo in the next st after the ch, then sc blo in each st across the row, ch 1, turn
Fold panel in half (hot dog fold), with the hair tie in between.
Row 8: Sc to connect the two panels (in detail: put hook through the sc from the previous row and the ch from the very first row, then sc into both at the same time to connect the panels).
Then, when at the end of the row, sl st into the ch st from the start of this round. Leave a long tail of yarn for sewing, and cut the yarn.
Sew the two parts together, and weave in the ends.
Awesome work!!
