Materials Required:
- Yarn (Please See below!)
- Crochet Hook (to match the yarn you are using!) (Here is my favorite!)
- Scissors
- Tapestry Needle (to weave in your ends)
Yarn:
For this pattern I recommend using any cotton yarn – cotton simply because it can withstand heat well, and because it’s quite durable and washable.
I am using the Bernat Handicrafter Cotton Yarn
Stitches/Abbreviations (US Terms):
- ch – Chain
- sc – Single Crochet
- rnd – Round
- sk – Skip Stitch
- St – Stitch
- Sl St – Slip Stitch
Notes:
- Please note that this pattern is written in US crochet terms.
- Gauge is not important for this pattern.
- Ch 1 at the start of a row does not count as a stitch in this pattern.
- Ch 1 is completed at the end of the previous row.

Ch 14
Row 1:
sc in the 2nd ch from hook, sc 4, sk 2, sc 5, 3sc in next ch, sc 5, 2sc in next ch, 2sc in next ch, sc 4, 2sc in the last st (same one as the first sc of the project), sl st into the 1st sc of the rnd, ch 1, turn
Row 2:
sc in the next st, sc 6, 2sc in the next st, 2sc in the next st, sc 7, 3sc in the next st, sc 6, sk 2, sc 5, 2sc in the last st (same st as the sc from the very start of the rnd), sl st into the 1st sc of the rnd, ch 1, turn
Row 3:
sc in the next st, sc 6, sk 2, sc 6, 3sc in the next st, sc 8, 2sc in the next st, 2sc in the next st, sc 8, 2sc in the last st (same st as the sc from the very start of the rnd), insert hook into the 1st sc of the rnd, yo new color, then pt, ch 1 (in new color), turn
